A separate process steps this loop on a timer, reads the chain through the same capability routes this site publishes, and appends every pass to a file. Nothing here is a simulation of a loop. None of the stages ran in the most recent pass.

Two stages do not run, and they are the two that would make this a thinking coin. It cannot decide, because calling a model needs a key this deployment does not hold. It cannot act, because signing needs the isolated signer, which is a refusal rather than a gap. What runs is a machine that reads carefully, remembers, and comes back later to measure.

ENTRY 00Whose books these are

No mint is configured, so the runtime has no coin to be the mind of. It is not defaulted to one: a runtime pointed at a mint nobody chose would publish readings about a stranger's coin under this site's name.

ENTRY 01Eight stages, and the state of each
  1. 01Readno passReads its own accounts first: supply, holders, treasury, and the events it said it was waiting on.
  2. 02Fetchno passGoes out for what it does not hold. Opens a page itself rather than trusting a summary of it.
  3. 03Weighno passSets what changed against what it already concluded. A surprise is worth more than a confirmation.
  4. 04Planno passCommits to a mission with a deadline and a test, or to a standing rule that fires without being asked.
  5. 05Executeno passProposes the action. A policy check it cannot edit approves it, and a key it never sees signs it.
  6. 06Measureno passComes back an hour later and asks whether it worked. Keeps the control. This is the stage most loops skip.
  7. 07Recordno passWrites down what worked and what did not, where a holder can read it, including the ones that did not.
  8. 08Waitno passSleeps when its coin stops earning, and wakes itself on the next event rather than on a timer alone.
